The S1 TITAN - for scrap metal sorting and valuation
 

Handheld XRF has become standard equipment in the metal recycling industry. The S1 TITAN, Bruker’s newest handheld XRF analyzer is the lightest1 in the industry, making it the ideal choice for scrap yard use. The analysis provides elemental concentration, alloy identification and scrap value. In foundry applications, XRF can also determine scrap element concentration.

Versatility is just one of the S1 TITAN’s strengths. Metal sorting is the most common recycling application, but the S1 TITAN can also help with the recycling of many other materials. The S1 TITAN can accurately determine precious metal and restricted element content in recycled catalytic converters.

Easy to Use
 

The S1 TITAN is the lightest portable tube-based XRF analyzer available on the market today. The user interface has been designed to provide intuitive operation and results presentation. Data management and transfer are exceedingly easy to use. The data can be stored in a protected data format, which cannot be modified, or an unprotected format, which allows simple modification.

Configurations
 

The S1 TITANLE is the premium configuration which is designed using the X-Flash® SDD and is equipped with a very light element measurement window. The maximum sample temperature which can be measured with this configuration is 150 o C.

 

The S1 TITANSE is the standard configuration which is designed using the X-Flash® SDD and is equipped with an aluminized Kapton measurement window. This design is capable of measuring hot samples up to 500oC.
